Description

It is with sadness that we regret to inform you that HIM 2026 Conference has been cancelled.

Dear HIM ʻOhana,

After closely monitoring the weather situation and reviewing the latest advisories regarding the kona storm impacting Oʻahu, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the HIM 2026 Conference.

Forecasts indicate a significant risk of flash flooding across the island, with the greatest danger expected Thursday night through Friday night. Out of care for the safety of our attendees, speakers, volunteers, and staff—especially those traveling or navigating areas vulnerable to flooding—we believe canceling the event is the most responsible course of action.

We know many of you have made plans and arrangements to be with us, and we share in the disappointment of not being able to gather as we had hoped. HIM has always been about more than an event—it is a community of leaders and friends seeking God together—and we are deeply grateful for each of you.

Due to the nature of the conference and our current technical capabilities, we will not be able to offer a livestream alternative this year.

Our team will follow up soon with additional information regarding next steps related to registrations and other details.

Thank you for your grace, understanding, and prayers during this unexpected situation. Even when plans change, we trust that God continues to guide and strengthen His people across our islands and beyond.

With gratitude,

Fernando Castillo
